Europe Trip #2: Totnes

The day after our arrival, I was surprisingly free of jetlag - just a little bit tired. After a lazy morning, we went off to see the local town of Totnes. This town has been around for hundreds of years and as you´ll see from the photos, it shows. The streets were incredibly narrow [much like one of the country roads in my previous post] but the locals seem to cope OK. Apparantly the town is a centre for hippies... it showed, but still good to see.

There´s only so much you can do and see in a small town, so thankfully it was not long before we were off to Cornwall and our next stop of Padstow... more in the next post. The following picture is of one of the main streets in Totnes.
