How nice is this place?
It appears that the only way to get sunshine is to leave Wellington, which is exactly what I did yesterday. Most of the photos are on my other blog (http://www.flying.geek.nz/) because it was a"flying visit", but here is a nice scenic shot of part of the Wairau Valley, west of Blenheim.

Rotate the photo about 95 derees to the right and you'll see a house :-) There are a small number of other houses in the area. A beautiful place to live!
